Our
Story
Trutale Media was founded in 2018 with a bold vision: to challenge the dominant narratives in mainstream media and create a platform that celebrates stories of depth, truth, and social impact. Frustrated by sensationalism and the lack of authentic voices, the founders set out to build a space where real, unfiltered stories could flourish, stories that spoke to the complexity and diversity of the world around us.
Starting small, with just a handful of passionate people working out of Mumbai office, Trutale focused on creating short-form digital content that brought underrepresented voices to the forefront. Their first breakthrough came with a web series about rural women entrepreneurs, a story of resilience and determination that struck a chord with audiences, especially in smaller towns. It was clear: there was a thirst for stories that went beyond the surface and showed the human side of issues often ignored.
Over the years, Trutale Media continued to build on that success, producing content that tackled vital topics like mental health, environmental justice, and social inequality. Their 2019 documentary on the farmers’ protests marked a turning point, garnering critical acclaim for its honest and nuanced portrayal of a complex issue. It wasn’t just a documentary; it was a moment of truth in a world of spin.
By 2022, Trutale had evolved into a full-service media company. From documentaries to podcasts, branded content, and more, the company grew while staying true to its core mission: to make an impact. we expanded their reach to rural and regional audiences, producing content in local languages and focusing on issues that mattered most to diverse communities across the country.
Today, Trutale Media is known for producing content that doesn’t just entertain, but educates, challenges societal norms, and sparks change. Their mission — “Stories That Matter” — reflects their unwavering belief that the most powerful stories are those rooted in truth and driven by a passion for social good. With every new project, Trutale proves that storytelling can be more than just entertainment; it can be a catalyst for meaningful change.
